Benefits for The Boeing Company employees are administered by BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois (BCBSIL). Regence BlueShield is now the Host Plan. Note: Boeing is not participating in the Regence Physical Medicine Program that begins November 1, 2014.

When caring for patients that are Boeing members, please remember to consult BCBSIL’s medical policy or call the Member Services phone number listed on the back of the member card.

Member Cards
Boeing members have member cards issued by BCBSIL with one of the following BCBSIL alpha prefixes: BHP, BCU, BYR or BEM. It is important to include the alpha prefix when submitting claims.

There are some members affiliated with the Boeing Company who may continue to have identification cards which include the benefit plan names “select” or “selections.”  These benefit plan names no longer tie to a network product offering; these members are covered under the Regence PPO contracted network.  The end of the Selections network product offering represents no change for you or for the Boeing employees you serve who now access care through the PPO Network.

The PPO suitcase logo on the Selections Network member cards applies to out of area services. Selections Network can be identified by the “Utilizing Selections Network” wording on the front of the member card.

Please contact BCBSIL customer service at 1 (888) 802-8776 for all benefit, eligibility and claims submission information.
