Reminder: CPT 0147T and 0149T denied as investigational
The following Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) codes are denied as investigational procedures because both procedures are performed with quantitative evaluation of coronary calcium:
- CPT 0147T computed tomographic angiography of coronary arteries (including native and anomalous coronary arteries, coronary bypass grafts), with quantitative evaluation of coronary calcium
- CPT 0149T cardiac structure and morphology and computed tomographic angiography of coronary arteries (including native and anomalous coronary arteries, coronary bypass grafts), with quantitative evaluation of coronary calcium
