AdviCare^SM is a comprehensive approach to care that supports and supplements the physician-patient relationship in improving health outcomes. The program is designed to work with a member's schedule and personal health needs. It complements the member's provider treatment plan and provides support through communication, timely information and a uniquely human approach.

AdviCare consists of a series of programs for active Regence BlueShield members with chronic and other ongoing conditions. The program identifies eligible members and provides personal contact with a nurse, educational materials, Internet tools and other services. This approach provides education and empowers participants while supporting, advocating and enhancing the physician-patient relationship.
