Clarification on our 2012 rates for small group pool (1 to 50)
In our recent announcement about 2012 rates for our small-group pool (1 to 50), we said that our rates are slightly lower than those we had originally filed. We want to clarify that the medical rates are slightly lower. However, our dental rates are approximately 3% higher than what you may have seen in the January renewals released with the rates pending approval. Our original filing was corrected to account for commissions on dental plans. We apologize for the inadvertent omission of this information in our original communication about our approved rates.
Please note: This clarification is regarding only our communication of the changes. The medical and dental rates that were made available in Agent Center beginning on Nov. 22 remain the correct, approved rates.
