Jonathan Hensley invites you to Be Well Washington
One in three American adults has high blood pressure. Could you be one of them? You can learn about your risk and much more at Be Well Washington: A Family Health Fair!
At Regence, we actively promote adopting a healthy lifestyle. That's why we're excited to partner with the Seattle Seahawks, Sounders FC and Q13 FOX to bring Be Well Washington: A Family Health Week to Seattle for the second year! Be Well Washington exemplifies our commitment to the residents of this state. We've dedicated an entire week to free screenings, family activities and educational opportunities aimed to give residents and their families the ingredients they need for leading a healthy and happy life.
Last year almost 5,000 people attended the fair. Watch the video on the Be Well Washington website showing participants' enthusiasm and engagement at the 2010 event. This year, Governor Christine O. Gregoire has again shown her support for the event by signing a Proclamation designating June 13-18, 2011, "Be Well Washington Week." The proclamation affirms that Washington State recognizes the importance of encouraging people to make decisions that lead to healthier bodies; increased energy; and longer, more robust lives.

- Healthy cooking demonstrations, including a healthy cookie competition between Regence's Chef Tse, the Seattle Seahawks and the Sounders' Chef Mac
- Entertainment by the SeaGals, Blue Thunder Drum Line, Hot Dog USA Jump Roping Team and more
