03/31/2011   Groups renewing 'as is' don't need to complete GMA

Groups of 1-99 subscribers that are renewing without any benefit or administrative changes aren't required to submit a Group Master Application (GMA). This policy also applies to groups renewing on our Regence ExpressionsSM and Regence EncoreSM dental plans.

Any benefit or administrative changes (e.g., contribution levels, participation levels, etc.) or changes in group size that impact the application of COBRA, OBRA, TEFRA or DEFRA will require a GMA. Below is a quick reference you can use to determine what we need in which situations.

Action What We Need
No changes Nothing
Non-benefit changes only Renewal and Maintenance Change Request Form
Benefit (or rates for 51+) changes Group Master Application
Cancel Cancel notice
