Medicare Annual Election Period approaches
We're excited about the upcoming 2012 Annual Election Period (AEP) for Medicare Advantage (MA) and Part D. In a few weeks you'll be receiving a notice including the Producer Certification dates and times for August and September, as well as how to register. Remember: In order to keep selling and receiving commissions for Regence MedAdvantage and Part D plans, you must be certified annually.
Sept. 30, 2011, is the deadline to be certified to sell 2012 plans. There will be no exceptions to this rule. Please plan to take your certification class in August or by early September so you don't miss this important deadline. Any producers not certified by Sept. 30, 2011, won't be able to sell our products during the Annual Election Period or in 2012.
This year's Annual Election Period runs from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7. Marketing for 2012 plans begins Oct. 1. We hope to have 2012 marketing materials available for you the last week in September. Any order for materials you place online after Sept. 1 will be held until the 2012 materials are ready to ship.
