Changes to Regence Life and Health Individual stand-alone dental portfolio
Regence Life and Health (RLH) is making several changes to the current stand-alone dental portfolio effective Oct. 1, 2010.
The Individual Incentive Dental plan will no longer be available for new enrollment and will be replaced by Individual Incentive 10. The new plan offers the same plan design as Individual Incentive Dental but requires waiting periods of six months for basic services and 12 months for major services. Preventive services will continue to be covered without a waiting period. The Individual Dollar-Based plan remains the same.
Individual stand-alone dental rates have remained the same since we launched the products in April 2009. Rates will change effective Oct. 1, 2010, and will be reviewed on a quarterly basis.
Revisions have been made to the application to include the new dental plan option. Please be sure to update your current stock of applications with this new version. The revision date on the Regence Life and Health Individual Stand-alone Dental application is 6/10. We won't accept any previous versions of the application after Nov. 30, 2010. Download the most current version of the application.
The RLH Individual dental rate is guaranteed for 12 months upon enrollment. After that, rates are adjusted to the quarterly rate offered at renewal.
