Regence discontinues closed Individual plans
As a non-profit health insurer, Regence is committed to delivering the highest value health care to our members and their families. Part of that commitment requires that we execute on plan administration with efficiencies that support our high standards for customer service and member experience. The launch of our EvolveSM family of products was part of an effort to streamline and guide our members to our newer health-focused plans. We thank you for your support of these new products. To continue this effort, we have made the decision to discontinue all of our closed plans and move your clients to a comparable Regence Evolve product. Moving to the Regence Evolve products allows us to focus on providing the best overall value to meet the health care needs of our community.
Your clients will begin receiving their notifications starting mid-September. See the below sample letters for reference:

We have attached mapping information. If you have at least 25 Individual subscribers with Regence, you will receive additional information specific to your book of business the week of September 13th to support you as you answer your clients' transition questions. The information will contain:
- Subscriber ID number, name, primary address and telephone number
- Date of birth of the subscriber
- Date of birth of the spouse/domestic partner
- Number of dependents
- Current plan name and deductible
- Current rate
