Quoting on Regence plans now available through the HIP
The Health Insurance Partnership (HIP) provides an opportunity for those Washington state small employers (1 to 50 employees) that currently don't offer health coverage to provide health coverage at a lower employer contribution rate than is currently available through the traditional small-group market.
We support Washington's HIP initiative and offer four tiers of products that are approved by the Health Care Authority (HCA).

How do you quote and enroll a HIP-qualified Regence plan?
Rates are available via Agent Center, just as for all other community group prospect quotes. We require the same paperwork from HIP groups that we require for any new community group. The HCA requires producers and groups to complete some additional paperwork and submit it to Harrington Health (third-party administrator for the HIP) to determine whether the group qualifies for coverage through the HIP.
See the HCA website for more information about the HIP.
If you have any questions about Regence products offered through the HIP, please talk to your Regence Sales contact.
