Managed care dental plan now available
In November, we announced a new managed dental plan for Individual.
Regence Life and Health is pleased to announce that the Individual Managed Care Dental plan is now available for enrollment for effective dates beginning Feb. 1, 2011.
The plan features:
- No deductibles
- No annual maximums
- Routine exams, teeth cleanings (for children 12 and under), periodontal screenings and evaluations provided for just a $15 visit charge
- X-rays, fillings and a variety of other dental services provided at a low copay
- Orthodontia coverage (regardless of age) and some major services covered after a six-month waiting period
- Emergency dental care coverage
Members are responsible for payment of the visit charge and any applicable service copays at the time of treatment.
In order to take advantage of their benefits, members must receive dental care from a participating provider. Participating providers include Willamette Dental Group (WDG) and the providers employed by or under contract with WDG.
Your clients may also add vision coverage to the policy. The RLH vision benefit reimburses up to $150 in vision services and/or hardware per member every two years. The application shows premiums for both dental-only and dental and vision coverage.
