In today's economic times it is more important than ever that we work together to assist our mutual customers. And more than ever I appreciate your support of Regence. I made a brief mention last month regarding our new Individual product, Regence NowSelectSM. Coming soon we will be offering two new open-access Individual dental products from Regence Life and Health. Stay tuned for more information on those plans.
This month we are featuring a Guide for Individual Coverage. We recognize that many employers are moving to employee-only coverage, which has increased the number of Individual applications you are seeing. For that reason, we have also provided additional ways to check an Individual plan applicant's application status.
Finally, I have some exciting news to report. Earlier this month Regence became among the first health plans in the nation to be recognized by URAC for our wellness programs. We are the first health plan on the West Coast to receive URAC Comprehensive Wellness Accreditation. For more information please see the press release.
