Some January and February commissions need adjustments
We want to let you know about adjustments we needed to make to Medicare Supplement and Individual commission payments for January and February 2009.
If you have clients on Regence Medicare Supplement plans who pay their rate on a quarterly, semi-annual, or annual billing cycle, the commission on your February 2009 statement shows as "NP," or non-payment. That means no commission was paid and a negative adjustment was made for January 2009. We are working with our technical team to correct this error and will make the necessary adjustments to the February commission payments for agents with clients on these billing cycles.
We have also discovered that commissions for our new Regence NowSelectSM plan paid at an incorrect percentage of 4% instead of 8% for January and February 2009. This has already been corrected, and commissions will be paid at 8% going forward. Our technical team is identifying adjustments that need to be made to January and February commissions.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will process adjustments as soon as possible.
If you have any questions, please talk to your Regence Sales contact.
