Regence HSA Healthplan 2.0SM went live Jan. 1, 2009
Jan. 1, 2009, marked the first available effective date for the new Regence HSA Healthplan 2.0. This innovative health plan combines comprehensive health coverage, tools and support to educate, engage and reward employers and their employees.
Available to groups of two or more employees, the Regence HSA Healthplan 2.0 offers:
- Comprehensive health coverage
- Personalized wellness programs including:
- CareEnhance® – a 24 hour nurse line that helps members get medical questions answered quickly and conveniently
- Special Beginnings® – a maternity program that helps mothers-to-be enjoy healthier pregnancies and deliver healthier babies
- Regence Health CoachSM – one-on-one coaching to help members identify wellness challenges, set realistic goals and put a personal action plan into place
- Powerful online resources on myRegence.com, where members can find answers and support for all their health and wellness needs
- Preventive care

HSA 2.0 Agent Toolkit
The Agent Toolkit now includes the product information, training and quoting resources you need to present the Regence HSA Healthplan to your groups.
To access the Toolkit, go to the Plan Information link for InnovaSM, EngageSM, ActivateSM or Regence HSA Healthplan 2.0.
Online comparison tool
You can compare Regence HSA Healthplan 2.0 benefit features to other Regence products using the Product Comparison Tool found in the Compare and Cross Sell section of the Agent Toolkit. Save your comparisons online or export them as Excel files.
New preferred banking partner
Your clients can now benefit from the addition of US Bank as one of our preferred banking partners. We selected US Bank for its comprehensive approach to health care banking and its strong consumer track record. Product availability changes
New groups will be able to select exclusively from our new product portfolio, Innova, Engage , Activate or Regence HSA Healthplan 2.0, beginning with March 1, 2009, effective dates.
Renewing groups will be able to remain on their existing products as long as no changes are made. Renewing groups wanting to make changes to their health plan will need to transition to one of our new products. Groups will be allowed to drop dental and make certain changes required to bring them into compliance with state mandates and product rules without having to move to a new product. They can also make administrative changes to their existing policies, such as changes in probationary period or required work hours. A group that grows or shrinks will be allowed to move to the appropriate line of business and still remain on its existing product.
Please note that all groups of 100+ will continue to have the ability to purchase existing and new product options.
