Annual Medicare documents are in the mail
Beginning on Thursday, Oct. 16, your clients can expect to receive a copy of their 2009 Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) and Evidence of Coverage (EOC) documents.
We will mail these documents to our members between Oct. 16 and Oct. 24. Although we have made every attempt to mitigate the impact to our Customer Service phone lines, we still expect higher than normal hold times during the next two weeks as members receive their documents.
Your clients can expect minimal changes to their 2009 plan benefit and design. In most cases they will see a reduced or relatively stable 2009 plan premium amount and an industry–standard increase in select benefit cost–sharing amounts. Some clients may also notice a plan name change, as we have updated our Regence MedAdvantage plan names to reflect the structure of our new low–cost option.
