Revised contracts for Individual PPO and Selections® Catastrophic $1,750 deductible plan members
All of our Individual plans experienced changes effective Jan. 1, 2008. In November, we sent each of our Individual plan members a packet containing a new contract and a letter describing the changes.
Unfortunately, we've learned that there was conflicting information in the packets that went to PPO and Selections Catastrophic Individual members whose deductibles increased to $1,750 starting Jan. 1. While the letter correctly described their new deductible as $1,750, the contract incorrectly said it was $1,500.
We immediately went to work to clear up the confusion. Last week we sent these members revised contracts showing the correct deductible and a letter explaining the error.
We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience the error caused. If your client received the revised contract and our letter, all they have to do is discard the contract they received in November.
