Offer extended to pre-standard Medicare supplement members
In November 2007, we announced our "Return to Medigap from MedAdvantage Assurance Offer", effective Jan. 1, 2008. This offer allows Regence Medicare supplement members the opportunity to try a Regence MedAdvantage product for two years, while retaining the opportunity to return to their prior Regence Medicare supplement plan.
We are now extending this offer to Regence members with Medicare supplement pre-standard plans. If they'd like to try a Regence MedAdvantage plan, they would also have the opportunity to return to a Regence Medicare supplement plan for two years. Although they would not return to their closed pre-standard plan, they would have their choice of any of our standard Medicare supplement plans (A, C, F, E or J) without underwriting.
