Excel 2008 compatibility workaround
With the release of the new Excel 2008 for Macs, we’ve experienced problems with backward compatibility. We're in the process of testing the new application, but until it's deployed across our organization, we will continue to work in Excel 2003 in a Windows environment.
You can help us expedite the processing of new and renewing groups: If you’re using Excel 2008 to create a census file, please use the Save As feature to save the file in Microsoft Excel 97-2002, X & 5.0 95 Workbook or Excel 97-2004 Workbook (.xls) format before you send the file to us. Please note that your file name may need to stay within a 30-character limit.
