12/19/2008   Convenient online enrollment and billing resources are available to groups on our new products

We want to remind you that groups choosing our new suite of products (InnovaSM, EngageSM, ActivateSM or Regence HSA Healthplan 2.0SM) have the option of using our integrated Online Enrollment and eBilling tools via the Web. These services are available to all sized groups, at no additional charge.

The Online Enrollment application automates the entire enrollment process, enabling employers and employees to perform self-service enrollment transactions online. Employees and employers can complete enrollment data, modify eligibility and update enrollment information online. Our new suite of products also has an eBilling feature that includes an online payment option. This allows group to view their Regence invoice online, eliminating the need for paper invoices as well as enabling groups to review billing and receipt history via the Web. Groups have the option to make eligibility adjustments to the bill that can be re-billed to reflect those adjustments, or to pay the original bill online using a standard Web browser.

A group can add eEnroll any time during the year. Preferably this will happen a month before their effective date on the new products or shortly after the effective date. Groups have two options: Online Enrollment only, or Online Enrollment and eBilling. (There is no eBilling-only option.)

A broker or Third Party Administrator may have access to Online Enrollment to proxy for the group administrator provided that they are nominated as the secondary group administrator through Employer Center. A broker or TPA may serve as a secondary group administrator, if desired.

Once the group is set up, Regence Membership provides a 60-minute Online Enrollment and eBilling training to the group administrator and/or their designee over the phone.

If you have questions, please contact your local Regence Sales contact.
