Northwest Urology Clinic no longer in Regence network effective Oct. 1
As of Oct. 1, Northwest Urology Clinic will no longer be part of the Regence BlueShield provider network. While we would prefer to maintain Northwest Urology as a contracting network provider, we must be prudent stewards of our members' dollars by providing them with access to health care they need at affordable and competitive rates.
Northwest Urology consists of three physicians operating in three clinic locations in the Anacortes and Mt. Vernon areas of Skagit County and in the north Snohomish County town of Stanwood.
This network change impacts all Regence members, including Regence MedAdvantage. Northwest Urology will continue to see members who have a Medicare Supplement plan.
While disruptions can occur with any termination, we want to assure you that Regence has an extensive network of providers. We want members to have an optimal experience with any provider in our network, and we are confident that we offer choices that fit our members' medical needs.
On Aug. 15 we will mail letters to members who have received services from a Northwest Urology provider within the last 12 months.
We will include with the letter a list of nearby urology specialists who continue to be contracted with Regence. Members are also encouraged to review our online provider directory to find providers on the Regence network.
If you have questions, please talk to your Regence Sales contact.
