We are excited by your response to our new products — InnovaSM and EngageSM — that became effective in the market on Nov. 1. We're also thrilled by the overwhelming response of the small-group market that has selected Innova or Engage for their employee medical plan. It is with this momentum that our journey to transform health care has reached a significant milestone. Together we will continue to reinforce the strength of our communities by:

  • Supporting health care transformation through informed member choice
  • Building products and services that foster lifetime relationships and provide value to our members
  • Deploying technology to streamline processes designed to affect real efficiencies and change

As self-managed plans, Innova and Engage are a big part of this commitment. They provide small groups of 2 to 99 employees with predictability and simplicity, along with wellness features that can transform a member from passive user to active participant. Most important, they offer small groups the flexible coverage they've been asking for. Both plans offer a unique mix of copay and coinsurance benefits, information resources and personal wellness programs. Innova's up-front benefits allow deductible-free access, while Engage features a streamlined coinsurance and deductible structure. Pharmacy benefits are standard on both plans.

New for Agents

  • The Jump Start Sales Program will recognize qualifying agents who sell a new group or renew an existing group with an Innova or Engage plan for effective dates of Nov. 1, 2007, through Dec. 1, 2008.
  • The secured Agent Center not only allows you to generate quotes for your Community-rated (2 to 50) groups, but it contains useful information including:
    • Product Comparison Tool
    • Quoting instructions
    • Collateral listings
    • Podcasts
    • Self-Managed plans overview
    • Answers to your Frequently Asked Questions that were raised at recent training events

New for employers

  • The Employer Center features updates, such as online reporting and billing. Employers can also view a prospective roster, view invoices, reconcile their invoices and pay for coverage online through automatic bank withdrawals

New for members
Employees can enroll online through myRegence.com. This online enrollment is integrated with the site registration. Employees can also perform the following self-serve functions:

  • Add dependents
  • Inform Regence of life-event changes
  • Enroll during open enrollment
  • Order and customize member cards
  • Print temporary member cards
  • Online newsletter
  • Demonstrate the value of myRegence.com with a guest pass
  • Provide secure, direct email access to Customer Service and Health Care Services through a Message Center
  • View cost detail at the line-item level with the Claim Line Detail feature
  • Search providers with new online enhancements

Jan. 1, 2008 Community renewals

Today, your Jan. 1, 2008 Community-rated (2 to 50) group renewals will be available in Agent Center. You'll notice that the renewal proposals only include rates for Innova and Engage. However, if you'd like to see a renewal proposal for our other products, please use the copy quote function in Agent Center to generate an Alternative Quote.
