Selections® and PPO Catastrophic $1,500 deductible plans suspended for new sales
As we announced on June 29, we have stopped all new sales of Regence Selections and PPO Catastrophic $1,500 deductible plans for an Aug. 1 effective date in order to comply with the recently passed Senate Bill 5930 (see RCW 48.43.005.32, which changed the definition of "catastrophic health plans."
We immediately removed these options from our online shopping site and started including inserts in our sales packets to notify prospects.
If you have a client who already applied for one of these plans for an Aug. 1 effective date, please note that the Regence Individual Marketing team is in the process of contacting each applicant to present alternative options.
Our existing members currently on Regence Selections $1,500 deductible and PPO Catastrophic $1,500 deductible plans are able to remain on their policies without any change.
