12/21/2007   Jump Start Sales Bonus Program extended through March 1, 2008

We've extended the Jump Start Sales Bonus Program for new Individual, Group and Association
business for effective dates through March 1, 2008. New business sold or renewed with an InnovaSM or EngageSM plan is rewarded under a separate Jump Start Sales Bonus Program that extends through Dec. 1, 2008, effective dates.

  • A contract is defined as a subscriber.
  • Once qualification is met, payment is issued retroactive to the first contact qualified during the month.
  • Monthly payment is issued one month following each contract's effective date
  • Quarterly payment is issued one month following the end of the first quarter of 2008.

  • A contract is defined as a subscriber/employee and is determined based on
    enrollment data recorded in our system by the fifth of the following month.
  • Payment will not be adjusted for enrollment received after the end of the month
    of the effective date.
  • Group and Association business qualify separately.
  • Payment is issued once for each qualifying new group enrolled during the program period.
  • Payment is issued one month after the qualification threshold is met and is retroactive
    to the first group qualified during the program.
  • Once qualification is met, payment is issued retroactive to the first group qualified
    during the program period.
  • Payment is limited to $75,000 total during the program period, but capped separately
    for Group business and for each Association.
Rules

  • Innova and Engage business is paid under a separate Jump Start Sales Program.
  • Medicare business is excluded from this program and does not count toward qualification.
  • The terms “broker” and “agent” refer to a company employing one or more producers who are appointed to sell Regence BlueShield products.
  • We may, at any time, amend these rules.
